Use Google Calendar as your booking system

Qallio can now connect to Google Calendar, check busy time there, and create new bookings in the calendar your team already uses.

    Book straight into Google Calendar

If your business already runs on Google Calendar, Qallio can now use it as the booking system. Connect Google Calendar, choose the calendar Qallio should use, and new bookings from calls can land there automatically.

    • Connect Google Calendar from booking setup
    • Choose which Google calendar should receive new bookings
    • Open the selected calendar from Qallio when you need to check it

    Availability follows real busy time

When Google Calendar is active, Qallio checks busy time in Google before offering a slot to a caller. Your Qallio opening hours and service rules still apply, so the assistant only offers times that fit how the business works.

    • Busy events in Google Calendar block booking availability
    • Qallio opening hours and special opening windows still control when bookings are allowed
    • Service rules, booking details, and required intake fields still stay in Qallio

    A cleaner calendar workflow

This makes Qallio easier to use for teams that already trust Google Calendar for day-to-day scheduling. The caller gets an answer, the booking is created, and the team sees it in the place they already check.

    • Bookings can be created in Google Calendar instead of only in Qallio
    • Qallio keeps showing booking details in the inbox and booking views
    • You can switch back to Qallio bookings if Google Calendar should no longer be active

Richer setup sources and clearer booking details

Qallio can learn from more public profile sources, build business knowledge from websites more reliably, and handle spoken booking details more carefully during calls.

More ways to teach Qallio about the business

New users can now add more public profile sources during setup. That gives Qallio more real context about services, offers, tone, and recent work before it starts answering.

    • Instagram profile sources can be used during onboarding
    • TikTok profile sources can also feed business context
    • Website import now uses a more reliable crawl path for useful business pages
    • Source errors are handled more visibly so setup does not feel stuck

    Clearer details during booking calls

Calls now have a better recovery path when a caller says a short detail that is easy to mishear, such as a registration number, booking reference, ID, or short code.

    • Spoken booking fields are captured more carefully
    • Qallio can recover likely values from recent caller audio when the call model is unsure
    • The assistant can confirm the likely value instead of making the caller repeat everything
    • Swedish registration numbers and similar short identifiers are handled with more care

    More reliable follow-through

We also tightened several background paths so messages, call answering, profile building, and provider errors recover more cleanly.

    • The dashboard is simpler to scan and easier to use
    • Message processing is better protected against temporary task polling failures
    • Unexpected voice-provider data is handled more safely during call answer
    • Generated messages, summaries, and profile text use more consistent prompts

Simpler setup and richer business knowledge

New businesses can get started faster with one simpler place for business knowledge, plus LinkedIn profile sources that help Qallio understand what the business does.

LinkedIn can help Qallio understand the business

New businesses can now add a public LinkedIn profile during setup. Qallio can use profile details and recent posts as another source when it builds the assistant’s business knowledge.

    • LinkedIn profile sources can be added during onboarding
    • Profile details and recent posts can feed the assistant context
    • Social profile sources appear alongside website and file sources

    One place for business knowledge

We replaced separate FAQ, knowledge base, menu, and prompt setup paths with one business knowledge field. New users can add a website, add a LinkedIn profile, and write the important details in one place.

    • Website and business details now feed the same setup flow
    • Qallio builds one concise knowledge note for the assistant
    • The dashboard uses the same business knowledge model after setup
    • Restaurant-only menu and food-order tools were removed

Easier for new businesses to join

Setup now has fewer separate choices and fewer places to fill in the same kind of information. The goal is simple: help a new business give Qallio enough context to answer well, without making setup feel like admin work.

    • The old business-type choice was removed to keep setup moving
    • Free-number wording is clearer for businesses outside Sweden
    • Mobile onboarding buttons and actions are easier to reach

    Cleaner follow-through

We also tightened a few reliability details so setup, knowledge building, messages, and transcripts keep working more cleanly.

    • Longer knowledge work is less likely to stop too early
    • Trial SMS guidance is clearer
    • Malformed transcription markup is handled more carefully
    • Production call issues are easier for us to catch and investigate

More reliable calls, messages, and customer details

Calls are steadier, SMS follow-up is cleaner, phone numbers are clearer, and times follow your business settings more closely.

    Steadier calls and follow-up

The first words, booking times, callbacks, and follow-up now stay on track more cleanly.

    • Calls handle early speech more cleanly
    • Booking times stay closer to the caller’s actual choice
    • Post-call follow-up keeps moving after the call
    • Test calls and callbacks behave more consistently

    Cleaner SMS and chat follow-up

SMS and chat follow-up now stays cleaner when a customer replies, a send fails, or staff step in after a call.

    • Saved chat messages stay visible if a reply fails
    • SMS status is clearer after sending
    • First-time SMS recipients get the right notice once
    • Owner replies and notifications route more carefully

    Clearer phone numbers and times

Phone numbers and times are now easier to read across Qallio when you call back, check a customer, or catch up after a busy stretch.

    • Callbacks point to the right caller
    • Phone numbers look more consistent in the web app
    • The mobile app uses the business timezone for call, inbox, contact, and chat timelines
    • Booking details and time wording follow your configured time format more closely

    Smoother setup and dashboard work

Setup and dashboard work also got lighter, especially on mobile and in call forwarding setup.

    • Call forwarding is easier to find and complete
    • Swedish registration capture is better prepared
    • The mobile dashboard fits tight screens better
    • Old booking setup paths were removed
    Product updateMay 21, 2026

A permanent free allowance and smoother caller handling

New users now get a permanent daily free allowance instead of an expiring trial. Calls also feel smoother around bookings and assistant audio.

    Start without a countdown

New businesses can now keep their setup and phone number while trying Qallio at a smaller daily volume.

    • Free users get a daily allowance
    • Assigned phone numbers stay in place
    • Calls and SMS use the same simple credit rule

    Better call flow details

Qallio now handles a few call details more naturally: known phone numbers, booking times, and quiet assistant audio.

    • Callers are less likely to repeat information Qallio already knows
    • Booking conversations handle time selection more reliably
    • Quiet or muted playback is handled more cleanly during calls
